Looking for Japanese Miniatures
« on: 21 May 2011, 06:10:29 AM »
I want to see what types of Japanese miniatures are out on the market right now. We are doing some hardcore playtesting and it would be great to have some proxy miniatures.

Cheers,
Robert

quite good!

i have to say that the proportions are odd, and some parts of the cloths are really abundant, but the minis in the overall are really nice!

I find both TAG and Brigade being very good. In my collection I have also added some Pulp figures Japanese marines, awesome figures. If you want Japanese for the early period (30's) you can use copplestone Chinese

Hi there,

Just go to my blogger and look for the label "Japanese."

I cover the majority of BrigadeGames/Company B.

Cheers,

Helen
Best wishes,
Helen

Eureka do some quite good Japanese in 15mm and 20mm that match up with their Australians (15 and 20mm) and their USMC ( 15mm). 20mm versions of the USMC are about to go into production.

Battle Honours do a range in 28mm but if you want cheap stand ins for play testing then why not avail yourself of some cheap 1/72 plastics? Airfix, Matchbox, Esci and Revell all do WW2 Japanese.

Just click on my world map under my name. If you can't see it try this:
