From ebay, Horrorclix i think. Added some tentacles with green stuff. In Lovecraftian Storys Shoggoths are black, but this is not easy to paint!!

Yes, the tar-like skin is hard to paint. I'm trying the same right now on my shoggoth (it's from D&D collectible miniatures).

I used green and brown washes (Vallejo) and mixed them with black. It dont really look exactly like tar but the effect is good enough for my opinion 

The agents are cool. Are these Dixxon Miniatures?
And the scenery you build is fantastic!
