Anyone know what happened to Wargames Supply Dump?
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:40:08 PM »
There's a new Dick Garrison miniatures blog:
http://dickgarrison.blogspot.com/
But the link to WSD is dead. I posted this on the comments but no response. Why advertise your minis with no way to but them?

The blog is nothing to do with WSD. There is a set of rules coming from Steve at Wessex Games for pulp sci-fi and he happens to have based it on the figure range

Would like to know what happened to WSD myself...

I just want to know where I can buy the damned miniatures from.  They've been unavailable for as long as I can remember. Which, admittedly, is not long.
This is my boomstick!

The WSD site and distribution for the line has always been spotty. The best thing to do is to pm Roger here on the LAF site to arrange an order (he goes under Dick Garrison).

I bought some bits from Roger at WSD a few weeks back. Great service and a nice chap.
Don't!

Any news about this line?

I was hoping to order some of the Dick Garrison's minis, but it appears there's no store carrying those minis.

Thanks.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

You have to order directly.

His website is down and has been.

He's still open though and accepting orders via email. (Sorry, I don't have it at the moment.)

Well, in order to be able to order you need to have a place that lists the minis available as well as the e-mail. I have a lot of them too and would lilke to order the missing ones.

At TMP I posted a question about this line, and this were two of the most relevant answers:

"You could try the old fashioned snail mail approach and see if they have sold the moulds on or have stocks etc for purchase.

His details are listed as..

12 Dearnford Avenue
Bromborough, Wirral
CH62 6DY, UNITED KINGDOM"

And from DICK GARRISON himself:

"Hi

Sorry the website is currently down, but I can be contacted on wsd50@yahoo.co.uk, if you have any queries.

Cheers

Roger"

So there you have it pals.

I'll be writing him as soon as I decide the exact minis I want.

Hope that helps.
