GREAT LOOKING terrain & minis PLUS a FINE narrative....WELL DONE!
A Dwarven Miner taken out by an Overfeed Lawn Ornament aka Halfling...Oh the shame of it all.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Looks like you've locked down that immersive experience so many struggle to achieve!

So when can I come round your house for a game?

It seems that you live in Devon and I in London.
Bit of a difficult commute, that one.
If you are ever in London for any reason you could always PM me, we may have something planned and you would be welcome to join us if we were...

Thanks, DeafNala.
'Overfed Lawn Ornament'!
That made me laugh!
 lol
Bert was not laughing, though, I can assure you!

Beautiful!

Thanks, Luckyjoe!
Although, when I see these close up, awful, pics, it only makes me wince.
You can see all the bits that need re-doing or finishing etc...
Those walkways are becoming an embarassment and I intend to finish them before doing any further work on the Halfling Quarter!
There are other bits that need doing, but they will be first.

Looks like you've locked down that immersive experience so many struggle to achieve!

If you mean getting involved to the point of cursing and swearing at the minis and the dice, then yes, we are quite adept at that!

Thanks for the comments, chaps.
We had a lot of fun with this scenario and it seemed to work, which is not so easy in a three-way game.

The photos taken do always highlight to me all the bits that need re-doing, so I will be taking each box out and finishing everything off over the next month or so, starting with those damn walkways (I never seem to remember to do them) and then continue with the Halfling Quarter.

One other thing that I forgot to mention was that Gav brought over his copies of the maps of the town, both the birds-eye view and the grid reference used for warband movement!

I will post pictures of them later...

You will, dont worry, they are quite basic.
Was going to post them today, but I have just realised that they need to be uploaded first!

Thinking about your INSPIRATIONAL Mordheim Gaming Table with all the UBERCOOL terrain you've made, your desire to get on with V.S.F., & then stirring in my multi-purposing tendencies, I wonder if you might consider taking you V.S.F. project & moving it into a Post Apocalypse settting that would enable you to utilize all this loveliness...just a thought. Adding some removable Victorian embellishments shouldn't be all that difficult.

That is almost EXACTLY what I intend to do, DeafNala!

Our VSF campaign will be taking place in Atlantis Arisen, with suitable fluff written explaining why there are Medieval timescale ruins and towns on the coastline.
I fully intend to utilise the buildings of Krappefortt for the start of the campaign and, as the campaign progresses into the interior of Atlantis, I will be adding the jungle style scenery that I have planned and eventually adding some more Victorian scenery as I make it.

We appear to be on exactly the same wavelength with this one. Again.

Sorry for the late reply, thebinmann... ::)

I AM very happy with the outcome as a whole but 'satisfied' is probably not quite the right term.
Since I have been posting pics on here, I keep noticing areas that need to be corrected, which I will be going back to sort out over this month.
I dont like to move onto another project until I am happy with the current one.
I fear that I will never be finished with this project as there is so much more to do.
So satisfied, probably not. Happy, yes!

I should have moved on to my VSF project already, but keep finding new things to make for this one (the Halfling Quarter was not in the original plan, it only came about after it got a mention and Ninja sowed the seed in my mind to make it).
I have set myself a deadline as I need to move on.
In the new year I will begin work on all the stuff I have amassed for VSF over the past few months, but I will be utilising a lot of the items made for Krappefortt, as they were made as generic as possible and will work as the ruins of Atlantis (when the fluff is finalised!) but will be phased out and replaced over time as I make more Atlantis-themed scenery, jungles, alien civilisation remains etc.
I will, no doubt, add to this thread as I will continue making pieces for Krappefortt as I have so many unstarted ideas and have a stack of materials bought to do it.
I will be posting the Map later, and if you look at the locations you will see what I mean, as I want to make at least one piece of terrain specific to each location in the town.
