VERY WELL DONE! Your collaboration with Pil produced a splendid looking War Band.

Kislevites looking superb Mason! Maybe my imagination, but they seem to have a suitable Slavic caste about them...

(hmm, minis, cast - there must be a joke in there somewhere*)

Looking for a game against them when you are free and able, sir. Methinks Das Nicht Krepen would like to meet them on a dark, moonless night...

Wow, how Mordheim has taken off for our merry band since you created that gorgeous table for us to play on. That's four warbands I've painted up since we started playing - it's infectious! I may make it five if I can summon up the enthusiasm to paint the Sods of Sigmar...

I love that ogre, by the way. Reminds me of someone in our mutual aquaintance...

 lol

That certainly is a great looking warband indeed. I look forward to meeting them on the streets of Krappefortt in the coming weeks. Again, thanks mason for a great afternoon gaming. Im sure ur boys have dusted themselves down, got a few more recruits and are ready for their next foray into Krappefortt. Until next we meet..........

Great looking warband. All very nicely done, I like the Druzhina Captain especially.

There's some good figures there with a considerable pedigree.

Thanks for the comments, Chaps!

Glad that they seem to have blended together well,
I thought that they had worked out quite well, but it is always good to have a second opinion, and a third and fourth, etc... :D

I love that ogre, by the way. Reminds me of someone in our mutual aquaintance...

 lol

Now that you have explained that one to me it is quite bizarre, because I was thinking of someone else entirely. Maybe he is a hybrid of the two.

Really had not thought of that one, but, yep, you are right!
 lol

They look fantastic Mason, of course I have the utmost confidence in your basing skills (and painting skills too of course) as you make such wonderful terrain pieces as well. I'm looking forward to seeing the same treatment on the beastmen. The other four figures blended in very well indeed and are great additions :-*

Really glad that they get your approval, Pil!
The Beastmen are finished now, I just need to get the pictures taken.

Hopefully get them posted soon.....

Finally finished the bases on the Beastman warband that Pil painted for me.
It has been quite some time, but they are finally done.

I tried to take some pictures, but my inability to see clearly through the viewer wotsit has scuppered me again.
Only one of the pictures is worth posting!
I am useless with the damn thing!
I will get my better half to take some 'proper' piccies over the weekend.

Here is my feeble attempt;

I think I should leave the camera alone, I might break it one day!  ::)

Put the better pics up when they are taken...

Missed these latest updates, been busy ;)

Kislev band is great!!! The beastman painted by Pil too, like the base, cracking work both :)

 Mason you mention you can't see through your view finder? Here are some questions;

 Are you short sighted?

 Are you long sighted?

If you have answered yes to either of these questions? Get thee to an optometrist! It may well be your problem ;)

I have the same problem,I have two pairs of specs, shortsighted and longsighted; the longsighted I use for photos, painting, reading et cetera, the close up stuff, hope this may help, there is nothing more frustrating than not being able take a bloomin' photo!

 Cheers

Thanks, Guy!
I have been wearing specs all my life, but the last couple of years my sight, for close up work at least, has got steadily worse.
I can read fine, and the distance vision is fine, but when it comes to painted minis I am having real trouble focusing.
It must be something to do with the distance, although the fact that I can read fine is a little puzzling.

As for takin a picture whilst using one eye through the viewer, well...
What looks ok to me actually looks damn awful!
That is why I am always nagging my better half to take the pictures. I am lucky that she does not mind taking pictures of the 'likkal men', as she calls them!

Anyway, so that those who are looking at this thread at least have something to fix their eyes on, here is Rocky, the Earth Elemental, who made a few brief appearances in our last Mordheim campaign.
He is a big lad, that is a 60mm base that he is standing on!

He was disturbed by the earthquake that caused the Krappeforte Krakk, the chasm that bisects the lower town, and would make occasional appearances, scaring the Krap out the warring bands.
