The irony is that I already have pretty much all the parts for a Clocktower and have left them packed up for when I am ready to move back to Krappefortt.....

That and enough other building materials for at least five other planned additions to the project.
Probably should not have told YOU that, though.
 ;)

5 more? Come on I doubt that...perhaps you should prove me wrong and share what 5.....  8)

Ohh man would it be a working clock tower?!?

Very funny, Ninja!

Maybe I should not tell you, but here is the list of what is already on the to-do list as I have the stuff:

5 Storey Clocktower (Not the 25 storey version that Bert is going to build!)

3x forty-five degree angle house pieces (to create winding roads)

Citadel Temple thingy (for use as part of a Witch Hunter Chapter house or Temple of Morr- undecided which one)

Citadel Tower (Not sure what this will be yet...)

Halfling cook shop (Take-away facility for the various Warbands!)

Witch's hut (Almost finished, just unsure of how to base it)

Wizard's Tower thing (still slow WIP, messing about with it when I can be bothered)

Krappefortt Bridge (but this will be some time in the future as it will be massive, almost a board in itself)

Krappefortt Stadium (Bloodbowl stadium- ruined, again a large piece)

Loads of other bits and pieces that will be used at some point but undecided for what yet.

So, you see, there is plenty more to do scenery-wise, it will just have to wait until I have finished other things...

Waiting
Scenery, I fold my hands and wait,
Nor care for wind, nor tide, nor sea;
I rave no more 'gainst Mason or fate,
For lo! Krappefortt shall come to me.

I stay my haste, he makes delays,
For what avails this eager pace?
I stand amid the ruined streets,
And what is mine shall know my face.

Asleep, awake, by night or day,
The friends I seek are seeking me;
No wind can drive my bark astray,
Nor change the tide of destiny.

What matter if I stand alone?
I wait with joy the coming years;
My heart shall reap where it hath sown,
And garner up its fruit of tears.

The waters know their own and draw
The brook that springs in yonder height;
So flows the LAfer’s good intentions
Still Mason insists to put up a fight

The stars come nightly to the sky;
The tidal wave unto the sea;
Nor time, nor space, nor deep, nor high,
Can keep away Krappefortt from me.

The whole problem with scenery & minis is that each completed piece generates a list's worth of other projects to do. We have unwittingly created our own form of Perpetual Motion...damn clever of us.

I think that you have hit the nail smack, bang, on the head there, DeafNala.
When I started this little project I only wanted to make a few buildings so that we could Mordheim on something other than the cardstock ones in the game.
To be able to cover a 4'x4' table was a bit of a pipedream, or so I thought.
I could probably cover two 4'x4' tables now, and still have loads of ideas for more.
The problem with something like this is that the possibilities are pretty endless, there is always something else to build.
My only real constraints are the ability to store it all.
Saying that, I find myself making space by selling all my Star Wars busts off, so that arguement does not stand up.
Yet!

This is one project that is not going to lay down and die quietly...

Ah, Mordheim may only cover a small area - but Krappefortt obviously covers more! IT has taken on a life of it's own, mate ;)

You are right there, mate.

Every time that I think that I can leave it alone for a while, it jumps out of the cupboard and bites me on the arse!

Ouch!
There it goes again...

Two 4x4 tables you say...... That sounds like an interesting idea sir.

If there's one thing in this world that's guaranteed to turn me emerald with envy it's Mason's bloody Mordheim board.  And now I see that even more additions are planned.  For my mental well-being may I suggest that sir keeps any further developments strictly to himself?

Thank you.

Where, for instance, are the extensive sewer systems that lie beneath this teeming metropolis?

It does, but I would need to get another board set up in the spare room.
I am sure that my Missus would be delighted that the 'Little Men' would be take over another room.
Never mind the 'not so little' men that would gathering around a second table....

Thanks, Mr F-F!
You could always refrain from looking at them.
