Nice ones! :-*

How did the leafs stay on after gluing? You just varnished and crossed your fingers? :)

Sweeeeeeeeet!! :o :o

I'm sure you've been asked this a million times, what your secret receipt for your scatter? How do you get the leaves?

I LOVE it...overgrown, neglected, just the perfect spot for some eerie happenings. The Lads in their first couple of photos look like their waiting for some one to pop up. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, Al!
I had not realised the placing of the figures in that picture before.
 lol

Thanks, Skander!
I just drop them all in a heavy dollop of wood glue and press them down.
As they absorb some of the glue, the join is stronger than you may think and they harden up.
Some still come off of course, but on this piece most should stay in the graveyard anyway.
I hope... ::)

Nothing 'secret' really.
I just use Autumn grass, followed by Scenic Underbrush and then some leaves.
There are also a few blossom and grass tufts on those, but probably not too visible in the pics.

I also keep a tub with a mixture of all the above for basing, but this is just the left-overs from large jobs like this.

Hope that helps.
 :)

Thanks, James!

I find it more than a little surprising that the owner of one of them, who is quite prolific on this board, has been so quiet.
Very strange.....

haha

A traditional 10-hour French "lunch" has kept me away from the PC all day!

But as my friend in the North said, I'm made up.... Now off to cheese and to miss Ripper Street!

I did wonder where you were.
Glad that you like it.

Thanks, Thatman!
The leaves do help.

I have gotten my scenery mojo back, so I think that a few buildings will be added to Krappefortt this year.
Not 100% sure exactly what yet, but I came across the parts for the Clocktower the other day and had an idea for the Witch Hunter chapter house suggestion.

I shall see what happens...

I have certainly gotten the bug back now.
I will be making a start on one of the above soon.
Very soon...

Legionaire Bert
Well someone has to but I have heard it is back breaking work.

...it could be worse. It could be raining.

Peal of thunder, lightning crashes and the rain pelts down.

Why make a (burial) mound out of a molehill?
