What do they put as the other half of the filling in this pie shop? A "half filling pie shop" sounds very interesting Paul.  ;) lol

That top floor looks cool. It sure has an interesting shape to it. The railing will look good I think. It brings to mind the gothic style house from the Adams Family.

How will you paint the poo? I request that you give a little tutorial. I have never considered doing that!!!! It isn't every day that a 'crap' paintjob gets applause from your peers on this forum, but it just may this time ;)

I've been away for a little while and I am staggered by the results! Looking fantastic, Mason. It's been a real pleasure watching this one progress. Good work, sir! 8)

I think that I will be adding a removable railing for aesthetic reasons.
As for the poo: You will see...I will do a bit of a tutorial if it works as I think it should.
 ;)
And yes, this must be a first: A request for a 'poo' tuitorial!

Looking fantastic! And looking forward to the extras :D

Cheers, Guy!
The 'extras' will be made over time as a 'reward' during other painting prjects.
 ;)

I do have to be honest and say that the bag containing the bits for the Halfling Pie Shop is calling me though.

Cheers, mate.
I am hoping to have it finished before I next see you, so you can have a butchers at it then.
Maybe size it up for curtains.... ;)

We have a game planned for the end of the month where three Witch Hunter warbands will contest a scenario (with individual missions) to see which of them shall be considered the 'Official' Witch Hunters of Krappefortt and subsequently claim the Watch House as their Headquarters.

A report of that game, along with the usual piccies, will of course follow.

Well: Its Pidgeon Poo time!

I found a little time earlier to have a go at finishing the rooftops.
It got far too hot to get any further but I did manage to get the slates all tied in together and the basic 'poo-job' done.

I do have to warn you that the pictures are not great, due to a lack of light.
I currently have a stack of scaffolding outside the kitchen window that is making it pretty dark in there.
That, along with the fact that I cannot open any of the windows as the scaffolding is blocking them, means it is quite dark as well as bloody hot and stuffy and is not helpful when it comes to painting anything.
 >:(

First up a stipple of black applied to all the areas that have been shat upon...

For this I am using a large brush with fairly stiff bristles...

After the black has been applied, a layer of dark green is stippled (which does not really show up well in the picture... ::))...

After that it is the turn of the white stipple,...

After that I just dippedthe brush into all three colours to get a random spread of colours and stippled that on all over until I was happy with the result.

Here is a bad picture of how I left it before the heat drove me out...

You canot really see the variation in colour in the pics, but I hope it will show up better later when I take pics of the finished article.

At least the bloody scaffolders have gone now and I can open the back door (they were carting the scaffolding through that way) and it is a lot cooler in there.

A good thing too, as I now have to go and set up the table for tonight's game of Strange Aeons... :D

EXCELLENT! You have a way with avian droppings...no matter how that's phrased it doesn't quite come out as a compliment. GREAT WORK...all things considered!

I think that you are right, mate.
I will go back and sort it out.
(Although it does look better than in that picture....)

Excellent! A feral pidgeon couldn't have applied guano better, and they're the experts  ;)

It looks amazingly real. I wonder how much research you did for this, and what anyone who saw you would have thought of the man stood looking at all the pigeon poo.

Oh well done paul.  :-* I really like the random colour variation of the poo, I wouldn't have picked that, and shows that those flying rodents have a good balanced dietlol I think some streaks for the more watery diet avians will be a good addition, perhaps more of a white coverage underneath overhangs?
