Oh, well played, sir! Beautiful sidestep

Well, since you are on your way back to the Black Country, I have to 'fess up that I used to live in Willenhall and met Dave and Phil when we were members of the Alumwell Club.
I must also 'fess up to a very small, but important, role in the rules, as the Nabob of Nham, the victorious Indian prince.  I will, no doubt, be royally crushed in our next encounter. :(

For any who might be interested, I can say that my latest rule set, "The Devil's Wind, for refighting battles from the Indian Mutiny, has gone to the printer's today. I should collect my proof copy on Monday and, baring disasters, they will be going to distributers and stockists later this month. They are full colour, with numerous photographs of the figures in my collection and of games in progress here in GHQ, and will retail at £12.50 a copy, being longer than my previous sets ~ A Good Dusting and Washing the Spears.
I do not sell the rules myself, but they will be carried by the traders who supported my earlier ventures, who report that those rule sets have sold well, and who advertise the rules on Forum Boards and in the Wargames press.
Do buy a copy if you would like to enjoy fast and enjoyable games in two to three hours!
David

Will someone have them for sale at Historicon this week?

I don't think they'll be printed by then. Dave is only due to get the proof copy today.  :D

I'm in Rowley Regis, near Dudley, but I used to go to the WMMS regularly until I had to start working on Sundays. First show of each gaming year and a cracking way to get started. I always had a great time, met up with a lot of friends and spent far too much money. So, if you gentlemen were involved in organising/running it I owe you a big THANKS!

It's always great to be the the Indian player, if you lose, you can blame the Firenghee's superior training, diet, weapons etc. If you win, then you have climbed a huge mountain to gain a stunning victory  lol

Thank you, Nick! From my point of view, they are all sold ~ the various distributers and stockists have taken up the full print run, so I'm very happy with the overall situation.
