« on: 20 July 2011, 02:47:50 AM »
I'm doing weird things with putty; let me know what you think.

There's some turn around pics and more information on the blog.

yup that looks good. I don't know how much experience you got on sculpting but you obviously have some talent!

Thanks for the comments.

@relic: Aw shucks. Mostly been filling gaps, attempting to do sculpted bases, and a bunch of hideous half formed things that will never see the light of day.

These and something I might show soon are about the only finished sculpts I have done:

hehe, well it starts with something... first you fill gaps, then you carve a few statues and suddenly you have a whole range of figs  lol

well to be serious (but not too serious!) I really like the style of that house and if it comes into the open market I will definitely get a few for my Songs of blades and heroes scenery pile. Also some of those statues might work also with 15mm..

Loving the Hobbit Mole-Hill! ;)
Great work, you are definitely inspiring me to make some Hobbit-scale townhouses, mixed in amongst the others it might just work....
You bad man, look what you have gone and done now!

On a serious note, wolfgangbrooks, I appreciate your attention to detail, particularly with the door.
I like it. I like it a lot!

CLEVER, CREATIVE, & IMAGINATIVE! It really turned out cool. I especially like the front door. VERY WELL DONE!

Can you specify? Like Minoan, Greek, something fancy?

I can try, it's deceptively hard to do stuff like that though.
