Hydris Occulite Tribe in full - new greens
« on: July 28, 2011, 12:32:26 PM »
G'day guys,

I just wanted to share the newest sculpt in the Rise of the Occulites series - a Hydris Tribe Occulite.
Bob has totally nailed the concept of this tribe and I absolutely :-* the result.

I would love to hear your thoughts. I'm really excited how the line is coming together and can't wait to see the rest of this tribe in the near future!

For more information, you can check out the blog: www.riseoftheocculites.wordpress.com

Cheers,
Ben.

Fantastic sculpt, it should mould up very well. I personally would have pinned the eye-stalk so you could position it in a variety of ways, but hey, it still looks like you could easily saw it off and pin it yourself if you really wanted!

Lovely clean miniature as usual, very excited to see how this all shapes out.

That's probably one of the best ones you've shown so far.  Looking forward to seeing some more of them.

Thanks so much for all the kind words guys!
I really love this sculpt. I can't wait to show the Chief off - he is particularly cool.

Painted samples of the Palaudis Tribe and Luftles are up on my blog and my webstore is almost complete (so both Palaudis and Luftles will be available soon to purchase). Also up is a preview of the Natural Selection deck - an important game mechanic in the Rise of the Occulites game 'Dawn'. www.riseoftheocculites.wordpress.com

Cheers,
Ben.

Thanks guys! More to share - as usual, all sculpted by the brilliant Bob Olley.

These will be moulded and cast with the Floris tribe in the near-ish future.
I'm really happy with them. They make me waver on my decision of favourite tribe - I REALLY like them.  :D

Feel free to check out the blog to find out more information.

Cheers,
Ben.

They are all VERY COOL & DIFFERENT. The one's with the attitudes are my favorites.

Thanks for the positive comments!

Just to give you all a heads up. The website is now up and running at www.darwin-games.com.au with the Palaudis and Luftles up for sale. Hydris and Floris will follow suit in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers,
Ben.
