Buildings for Pulp 20-30s America?
« on: 19 August 2011, 12:05:32 PM »
Hi

Has anyone used these for America

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28MM-WARGAMES-VBCW-BRICK-BUILT-FLAT-ROOF-WAREHOUSE-/270802587238?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item3f0d178e66

Are they as goof=d as they look and do they match the laser cut wooden ones from Sarrasin (not sure on the sepelling?).

Thanks

I just bought one yesterday.  I imagine that it will take some time to wing its way to Guam though.

Interesting, but not overly keen on their brick. I wonder what material that is.

While I really like PMC's stuff....
I find their shipping to the USA a tad high.  :-I

I was thinking the same thing.  It's a good price but the brick is unconvincing.

I was lucky enough to find a role of wall paper in a charity shop (99p)which matches the PMC brickwork. I think they used this on the masters then cast in resin. It actually works well if primed with a grey.sand colour for the mortar and is then dry brushed with reds, browns, blues, blacks etc for the brickwork. Instead they have gone for the quicker option of washing the walls red, so all the pigment settles where the mortar would be, though to be fair the price is reasonable.
