Very nice  8)

Before you go too far, maybe a little coat of spray primer on the main parts will help to get the lines and curves smooth  :)

cheers

Yes I've been looking over various scratchbuilders blogs like Fichtenfoo's and seen they do that too. So when the weathers up to it I'll spray them and see if I can get a better result, as there are still a few dents and creases here and there that need tiding up, but they're not always apparent until you run your finger over them and can feel it.

Well after a few years I've finally got this finished. The reason being that there's just been a new prequel released as part of the franchise -
Ghost in the Shell - Arise' and after seeing that I got into my GitS thing again and this is the result. I went with a green colour (similar to the Uchikoma) as the form is recognisable enough and a green colour would allow me to use it as a large walker in 15mm games too.

Thanks guys! It doesn't half feel good to have finally got this finished. Now as for more of them, lets see - this one only took me three years!

This turned out really well. Any chance of casting them?

This one has been glued and painted so not really a possibility, though if someone was to offer to do the casting, I'd happily make another (plus my skills have improved bait over the pass couple of years.

I'm actually considering make another, but in 15mm, but lets wait and see if that happens.

Totally love it. And inspirational. Both you and Westfalia Chris have me wanting to make some myself.
