Dark Sword Female Cleric(?)
« on: August 28, 2011, 09:40:44 PM »
I think she is supposed to be a cleric at least.  I'm not too familiar with D&D and the types of characters.  There is something happening between my camera and vallejo metallics paints.  They don't like each other.  I did not dry brush the metal bits at all.   :?  Oh well, here she is:

Nice work and nice mini! I like the earthy tone of your colors. Okay, so the metal does look a little strange (not bad really, but strange). Is it just the photo?
Anyway, I do like this miniture, looks just the way I picture the typical adventurer type. Keep on posting!

VERY WELL DONE! She definitely is a serious, no nonsense style priestess..."Faith is better than smart answers!".

A PREEEETY miniature, and an oustanding paint job.

She looks full of character, and ready to kick some dungeon dwellers arses.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Beautiful job.  I do really like Dark Sword's stuffs.  Do you have any idea how they compare to Red Box minis?  I'm guessing they're somewhat taller...

Lovely paint job, she looks so lifelike.

In fact, she looks the spitting image of a friend of mine!
We call her 'Genghis', because she kicks ass, too!

I think I will have to send her the link, although it may give ideas that she should acquire a mace...
Now that would be scary!

Great painting, shall be looking up more of your work.

Incredible paintjob, up to par with Darksword's high quality figures.  I'd really like to pick up some of their figures, but won't do it until I can come closer to doing them justice.  You have done well.

Thanks everyone!  I appreciate the comments.  :)

They're noticably larger than Red Box.  I have this miniature on a washer and a few Red Box Miniatures on the plastic round bases and the Dark Sword minis are still taller.  I'm almost finished with a Red Box HelsVakt and I'll post a comparison on this thread when I get finished.
