Not really, I think GW paint warpstone as glowing green, but I'd probably do them black with red viens or black with green viens in them.

Just found this tutorial on the GW site that says basically black with green viens:

EDIT: the wiki page says it's both dark and green at the same time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warpstone

EDIT 2: Of course I mean 'veins', as in thin layers in the rock, not 'Viens' which is apparently a small town in France.

In the Mordheim fluff. it's the same stuff ...

Since ancient times the Skaven have searched the world for the stones of power that men in their ignorance call wyrdstone but which Skaven have long since known as warpstone, blackstone, or seerstone.

... and it's green.

I paint it black then dark green with light green lines running through it.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

I generally go with a dark jade green as the base, and then lighten up from there.
