TFM vampire.
« on: September 22, 2011, 05:30:46 PM »
I just this morning finished this yummy sculpt from Ed (HiveTrygon) of Troll Forged minis. The colours are a bit out of whac because of my new lighting set up so I hope this does it justice.

Colour scheme inspired by a big beastie from Maxmini.
Hope you like him.

WONDERFULLY WELL DONE! The skin tones are a MARVEL to behold...love the base too.

Wow, that looks really good! I particularly like the transition from the claws to the arms. :D

I've had a beady eye on this chap for a while.  Resin isn't he?  Lovely PJ, Mr May.

Yes he's resin, those fingers would be hell to cast in metal!

Base coated in a dirtied ochre, glazed black and chestnut in the right bits. Then highlighted with still quite thinned paint with ochre/grey/white mix. Chestnut and black hightlights touched in seperately, then the chestnut areas glazed in a bit more followed by a wash of Devlan mud magic.
