To be honest, I will not leave this forum for another, however, a dedicated subforum on its own would be perfect. It could also be Zombie/Post Apocalypse, wich I feel is a bit the same thing, but with different flavour. Fallout could easily fit in as well. But, a zombie only forum would be quite enough on its own I belive.

Agreed, Post-apocalyptic projects deserve their own boad, too... especially since the official Lead Adventure miniatures are for exactly that :)

As long as the board doesn't get the TMP treatment a.k.a. having a board for every (obscure) period times all different scales there is, all should be good.

This, especially on the not leaving this forum for another.   I'm not sure Post Apoc needs it's own sub forum, as I think it pretty much fits the definition of 'Future Wars'.   Zombies however, I think deserve their own child board.

There is already a dedicated PA forum called post apocalyptic games at http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/index/ . Although a child zombie board wouldn't be amiss here.

That would probably be best. The motion still carried.   lol

If there is a new board created here I would suggest one for Horror in all forms,to include zombies.  Fashions change in gaming, and at some point in a few years, zombies will fade, and vampires or mummies or something will get popular.

Although we do have a Cthulu board already, so the mods would need to decide whether that becomes part of Horror, or remains a standalone.

I still stand by my original petition, zombies (and perhaps post-apocalypse), not a general horror board. This was for zombie Mayhem and nothing else. I feel that the rest of the horror scene is something else, its more related to cthulu and such, adventure stuff. Zombies is about outbreak, mayhem, the destruction of society and survival. More like a post-apocalyptic (not nececary though) world than vampires and victorian professors :-P

I like this idea, it is usually referred to as the "Zombie Apocalypse"

Another +1 for a child forum.

Count me for another +1 for a child forum.

I'm against it!  :)
My interests are broad and fluctuate all the time. I like all SF related stuff in one forum. zombies, post apoc, space opera. a varied newsfeed where I can see anything from anybody. more boards can create a TMP-effect where you don't know anymore where to go, or where you found that thread the other day. (not to mention TMP-pedants' "you posted this on the wrong board" replies)
I think it's already a shame Atomic Café isn't part of the gereric SF board, as it's overlapping other modern time periods and genres. And should be.

Must admit I do trawl through future wars and often miss zombie threads ,but would a new  thread cover evrything zombie I.E a few zombies running around a castle in www11 or just day of the dead type scenarios with zombie hoards running amock and would it be a specific time period ie modern ,gothic stays in gothic section?

I am totally for it.
I really do not like zombie stuff. All other future wars is great.
So having a a zombie child board to filter out all the stuff that is of no interest would really suit me.

I don't know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.
