I agree with Capthugeca, although it would suck if this place got overly 'boardy' like TMP.

I'm against it!  :)
My interests are broad and fluctuate all the time. I like all SF related stuff in one forum. zombies, post apoc, space opera. a varied newsfeed where I can see anything from anybody. more boards can create a TMP-effect where you don't know anymore where to go, or where you found that thread the other day. (not to mention TMP-pedants' "you posted this on the wrong board" replies)
I think it's already a shame Atomic Café isn't part of the gereric SF board, as it's overlapping other modern time periods and genres. And should be.

I take the opposing view: Future Wars has become some a 'broad church' that I find it a bit of a mess of conflicting genres , periods and foci.

I think that the main problem is that when you post something zombieish, it is interesting for future wars as well, and for any postapocalyptic topic.

There should be a Tag system here, to select the specific topics in a single "favourite" board, customized for each one... But it probably has to modify all the architecture of the site.

With so many people in support, I reckon there's an overwhelming case for a separate zombie forum entirely, where enthusiasts can discuss their obsession with the undead to their heart's content.
Great idea, lads. Go for it! Can I contribute somewhere to help get this noble venture off the ground? I don't mind PayPalling really quite a lot of money... It's long overdue.

Ditto. I've got a game I've written three years ago I'd love to have folks try out and give feedback on before I put it to print. A dedicated forum would be just the place to post it! :D

If there was a dedicated forum, what would we call it?

Night of the living Lead.

A winner, surely! (or return of the Living lead for those who like the trashier 80's offerings!).

I was going to suggest Zombie Town, but feel that pales vs. Night of the Living Lead...

I think that has been done for a blog.

Yes.  Please separate the zombies.  They are infecting the future wars board and must be contained.
This is my boomstick!

 lol

If nothing else this thread has served for a vein in zombie-themed jokes and puns.

Funny, I was putting thought to making a thread requesting a zombie section so I could look at aliens, mutants and warbots without seeing another greasy undead thread spreading it's bony fingers through the radiation soaked ground.

Sincerely hope we get a zombie sub-forum.
