Victory is guaranteed to the last man standing, but always remember those whom you stepped on to get there!!

Thanks  :)
These I did in two ways...each way I based them first in black.
1st way...going in layers from dark grey to highlighting in white..it takes about 7 plus layers and gives a coldish appearance.
2nd way, sand brown and then slowly add a third more white each layer, last layer highlighting with white..also takes about 7 layers.

Iīve combined both ways with a white horse with white coat...the grey way for the horse and the sand brown way for the coat...itīs not in the picture..it is being used for another set of crusaders, but the two whites do look completely different.

Thanks. I usually start with black primer and then do something similar...
1) burnt umber and then go lighter with brown to creams and then to off whites
or
2) grays to white

I wondered if there was another, easier way...I really don't like painting up to this colour. Never really satisfied!!

Yours look great.

Thanks for the help.

Apparently there is a couple of other ways..one is after whatever base you use just use a stain..I treid it but didnīt like the result.
