King Arthur vs Saruman

Hi,
the Naran sie has been updated with photos of the battle that we played at "The BIG MOGU FANTASY" - Vercelli, the Sunday, October 2, 2011.

We deployed armies of 2000 points, each with 2 Commands, plus 750 points of magic. The army of the Hyperboreans were composed by forces of the kingdoms of Rheged (aka Rohan) and Camelot (aka Gondor), plus the realm of the Elves of Lariendheim (aka Lorien) and one Unit from the County of Halflings. With the Hyperboreans there was Merlin the Magician (aka Gandalf), as the only magic character.

We played 8 rounds, from 13 am to 18 pm. The battle ended with the victory of the Orcs Xanatar (aka Saruman), who have conceded just 636 points loss against the Hyperboreans 1676, for which the battle was a real massacre.

They were killed Merlin the Magician and the elf General (Aldir) who commanded the unit Archers and the Unit of Halflings. These have stood courageously against a huge troll, assisted by the Warchief (a Knight of Rheged), and the elf General and his Ensign.

Love all the bright colours, very high fantasy! It all reminds me of some good ol' 2nd edition gaming. I'm very jealous of all your terrain!

The terrain & minis for The Game are REALLY COOL & NICELY DONE...the vibrant colors appeal to moi. I love the photos of the Convention Folk...definitely my kind of people, although I'm not certain this counts as a compliment.
