VBCW AAR: Who is...?
« on: 10 October 2011, 10:32:06 PM »
Who is Jannet Cooke?

A fun new battle between the Marxist forces and supporters of the king of England. Every day I like best is VBCW.

That looks good - I'd love an English translation of the text.

My language skill is non-existent - you are way ahead of me.

I can understand the story with the help of the link fergal has provided although, as always, online translation turns up some delightful interpretations, eg:
Quote
Polar Star sailors had left the devices at the agreed place, an old hideout, which they used for their fiddling with the Marxist Liberation Front of Ulster

Leaving that aside, good report and thanks for bringing it to us.

Doug

lol Yes I adore google translator and find myself wondering how much of the dodgy translations were intended by the code writer...  :?  I've rarely struggled to get the gist of what's going on though and it has allowed me to access blogs like Mendoza's and forums like El Gran Capitán, which otherwise I wouldn't have been able to access. Of course the fun is paid forward when I attempt to post on them in Spanish, I read and speak far better than I write, which isn't saying much.

Chrome's built in browser translator is also pretty good btw.

It's a good storyline and set in Northern Ireland, which is fairly untouched VBCW-wise iirc.

Yes, the internet trasalator isn´t the best, but is very easy to make a fast traslation. We try to writte easy spanish, to make easier traslate to english. Because writte in english is too much hard for my, and I do too much mistakes.

I'm happy with it as it is, so no problem, except whatever happened to Joe Banana?  :)
