No, I have not seen the remake.
A friend told me it was pony, so I didnt bother.
It seems that you reinforce that view!
(Sounds a bit like Alien Nation-More pony IMO....

I was referring to the original series.
A classic!

worse than alien nation - it was more like a naff version of CSI or similar, just with some token effects to say 'yes, these uber-pretty flawless pretty people' really are aliens, and the odd bit of CGI for a ship or shuttle etc. It was soooooooo slow and boring compared to the original. I wish they had just bought it up to date instead of sodding around with it  :'(

I quite liked the new V, also Alien Nation.  :)

It was a very different show than the original V, sometimes I think remakes that are so far from the original are hurt by, not helped by association with the source.

The old series was definitely better.

But I did find one reason to watch the new one.

You've spotted the only good point in V2 (IMO) ;)

I wish we had a Hamm figure that looked like Michael Ironside.  A painter can dream I guess......

Michael Ironside played a black leather jacket MAC-10 with armor piercing ammo packing badass named Hamm who was from the larger Resistance in the original V.

Damn that's funny Penchour; I was thinking about Grant as well.  He's in my hobby room waiting to be painted as a Mercenary Commander for my Traveller project. :)  Great minds & all that...

I was also thinking maybe using one of the Heresy trench coat gangers in a conversion with Grant possibly....?

I think there's a large variety of choices for converting an accurate Hamm. Now I really like Grant's general pose and look ... I'll say he only is the laziest option  ;)

Really love the painting on the new figures.
I thinks the red on the figures is very well done.
Look forward to seeing more on your project.
