SUPERQUICK CARD BUILDING KITS
« on: October 14, 2011, 05:38:12 PM »
Not sue if this is the right place, possibly VSF or workbench

I wondered if any one had used these models:

If so what scale are they?

Looking at their catalog they are OO and HO.

And they are in Shropshire. Don't we have a man in Shropshire? ;)

Our man in Shropshire?  Easy to see why it didn't take off as a film title.  :D

They are HO/OO for railways like Hornby etc. but don't look bad on a tabletop at all.  I built dozens of them about twenty years ago, they are probably in the attic somewhere and was quite happy using them.

I didnt follow the link, just presumed they are the same ones ::)

Our man in Shropshire?  Easy to see why it didn't take off as a film title.  :D

The script for a film was put before the Hollywood moguls but the idea of someone wandering the vast and barren Shropshire hinterlands in search of a railway modelling shop didn't take off. Even the idea of our man stumbling across Antenocitis Workshop in an Ice Cold in Alice style of ending didn't move them. The heathens..

Binmann, I've got a few of these kits and they are good for 18mm or 20mm but nothing larger.
Don't!

This software is fairly easy to use, creates buildings in virtually any scale, and has options to import your own textures. I've used it to clad foamcore building blanks. Their website includes files for several buildings and some additional building files were posted by users in several scales including O gauge and 28mm.

I understand that some of the test footage was saved and used as the opening for a very popular television show:
