Pirate game report - Argh.
« on: 16 October 2011, 06:28:55 AM »
Had my second game of Legends of the High Seas yesterday playing the Clash of Arms scenario.
Here follows the totally un-bias reportage of the events that occured.

The crews consited of: Cap'n Pig Eye Peg and her crew of bold mariners and Cap'n Black Jack and his crew of incontinent scupper dogs.

A view of the town from Hangmans Hill (where Black Jack and his crew deserve to swing for their crimes!)

Both crews deployed and made their way toward the town. Pig Eye Peg being the bolder of the cap'ns split her crew into three and promptly took to the centre and flanks of the town. Black Jack and his dogs (scurvey lubbers one and all) advanced with caution and set up a firing line armed with muskets (a cowards weapon if'n ever there were one!)

First Mate Ethel the Red leads a sortee around the flank.

Gluten Free Pete the Quartermaster held firm in the centre whilst the 1st mate and Cap'n Pig Eye each lead a sortee around the flank.

The Cap'ns' sortee. Bold as brass - Not creepin' in the shadows as some would have you believe!

A bit a o' lead was fired back and forth between Cap'n Pig Eye's sortee and Black Jack dogs - taking one o' the lubbers out o' the action. The QM advanced in the centre into the fire of the musket line and with great boldness retreated again.

"Follow me lads!" Gluten Free Pete (QM) advances on the muskets.

Mother Mutton - The local cook - Watches the goings on.

Cearly confused by the sitee-ashun, Cap'n Jack now formed up his cowardly lubbers behind the musket line and prepared to try and take the centre of town by main force.

That's Cap'n Black Jack wi' his sword arm raised.

Both crews now faced off in the centre of town. Another exchange of hot lead ensued which saw the untimely death of Filthy Fanny - the most beautiful lass to sail the high seas - along with another of her crewmates. Pig Eyes' crew, now enraged by the fall of Fanny charged into Black Jacks scurvey "Fanny Killers". There were losses on both sides but Pig Eye Pegs doughty crew won the day.

With a mighty cry, Bristol Sally leads the charge of Fanny's Revenge.

Cap'n Pegs' crew give a cheer as their enemy is driven from the field.

So... Cap'n Jack was thwarted but at the cost of the beautifullest piratess that e're sailed the seven seas.
Filthy Fanny (R.I.P)

Mother Mutton was impressed with the goings on and is considering signing up with Pegs' crew. There's always a berth for a good cook to come on board.

Arrrghhh!

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

So Filthy Fanny is killed.
Quick paint another curvaceous pirate gal to take her place.
The lads could not go on without her. lol
Looks like a fun battle.
