Flat Iron Building
« on: 22 October 2011, 09:02:48 PM »
Purchased at Swap Meet for $4.00; originally a Spiderman toy; I had to hide various opening where people and webs once sprung out/long since broken and gone;  hid embossed web on ground floor under Milliput shaped as a bush;  added steps and planter using Evergreen plastic; then painted it; the doors are a bit tall, but it’s a remarkable building that otherwise looks great with the 28mm figures so I overlook the door issue

That's scrubbed up well. What's the name of the original toy?

Phil, since gamerMac's son has the toy in his room, he may know its original name.  I got mine as a broken toy at the swap meet, and I never saw a box or label.  I just know its a Spiderman toy.  Richard

Sorry my boy has had it for years. Box long gone.
It was part of action set with various other bits. A zip line and a tower.
I will have a look tomorrow to see if there is a makers name on it.

Looks superb.  A quick google turned it up as the 'Spiderman Sky Rider Playset'

Schlumpfsa, thanks for posting that.  It's great finally knowing what it was originally.  Richard
