Skrapwelder;

I had some pictures stored of a local abandoned cemetery.
I have started a thread that you, or anyone wanting to do a similar project may find useful.
It is here;
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=34453.0

One of the pics as an example;

Hope this helps!

That looks like it's going to make for an awesome cemetary! Can't wait to see it finished and in use.

As promised: pictures of the finished layout just before the game. Looking at the pictures the first thing I see is that I need to get the grave placards to match the game mat color.

All in all I'm very happy with it but will continue to fine tune for a few convention games I have in mind for the coming year.

I'll post an after action report in the Weird Wars section once I finish with the resat of the photos and getting a little write up done.

Thanks for all the kind comments

Mike

It looks great for your Halloween game.
Did not realize the size of it.
Plenty of room to move figures.

That's a fine looking board you've got there. Will you be running the game with dimmed lights? A few lightning strikes and the odd rumble of thunder maybe?  ;)
Don't!

Pictures don't do it justice- it was really nice impressive.

I just thought of this now- you'd mentioned having considered a backdrop- which would have been cool, but the best would have been some dry ice!  :D

What a lovely table!
 :-* :-* :-*

You have done a great job, especially in such a short period of time.
The colour of all the roofs is a great touch. It brings it all together wonderfully well.

I did not realise that those GW fencing sections were so good.
You may have just made me make my first GW purchase for some time.

Sterling work, Sir!

I commanded the force led by Union Jack and can summerize our engagement thusly;

Ecountered 6 different groups of zombies, ghoulish things, the Hag and a Vampire, All killed or ran away with out a loss to the command! Also winged with, Unions Jacks pistol that uses Really Big Bullets.... the lead vampire, as it were, thus driving him off also. Not bad for a days work!
