The cemetery on my desk. Pictures of finished table on page 2
« on: October 25, 2011, 04:53:01 AM »
Work in progress pictures for a Halloween WWW2 game this weekend. Most of the action is to take place in a large, derelict cemetery. Duhn dun dun!

Kits from many manufacturers coming together. GW, Fantascene, Hirst Arts, Pardulon. This si everything ready to prime and paint.

Graves and crypts with base coats.

More crypts and some creepy trees on the desk.

Good citizens of the cemetery. Mantic, West Wind and Heresy for the most part.

More to come as things wind up toward the weekend. Good thing I put in for a couple of days off.

Thanks for looking,

Mike

Wow!

What an amazing collection of spookiness.
Please list where all the mausoleum's are from. Some of them are fantastic.
Cant wait to see it all painted up and assembled.

This is outstanding.  I love the variate and detail.  Where did you get the fencing?

Can't wait to see this game.
What do you figure will be the size of table you will need?
Halloween is only a few days away.

Looks great but, *tick tock tick tock* will you finish in time? I would like to see a nice battle report after the game.

Today will be basing effects day. I'll be grassing bases on the minis and scattering foliage on the terrain pieces.
All the minis are painted.
I need to do a final white highlight on the mausoleums.
If I have some extra time I might paint some road section I cast up earlier.

There will most definitely be an AAR with pictures. The game store we play in is also having a Malifaux Tournement night at the same time so I'll try and get pics of that as well.

To answer some of the questions:

The large ruined church is made from Hirst Arts bricks. The mausoleums are all from Fantascene with the exception of the darker small buildings that are part of the Garden of Morr set from Games Workshop.

The fencing is also from the Garden of Morr.

The mat I'll be putting it all on is about 9 feet by 5 feet.

Alfrik - If I panned back for a long shot of my workspace there would be SAN rolls aplenty.

Thanks everybody for the comments.
