Strange dream creature or Egg Guardian W.I.P

Hi Everyone

I've not got much sculpting done this week due to having the Man Flu 

Started this last night, Its a work in progress of some sort of Dreamland / Void creature.
I was also going to make a spawning pool with loads of eggs and this could be its guardian.

I've still got to finish were the tentacles attach to and maybe do something with the mouth.

What do you think?

I've added a beak for the mouth. Its easily removed if it needs to be

Hi to all,

I like it, it reminds me of one of the creatures featured in the Fiend Folio way back when. I think it was called a Grell. I would add a few tentacles, but that's just me. It does look fine as it is, though.

I like that, it looks suitably Lovecraftian but wouldn't be out of place in a 1950s Science fiction movie either.

My vote is to keep the beak

I think it adds a nice sinister element. Great sculpt.

If there was a way to do both. and have the beak as an optional extra then that would do very well for me! I honestly can't decide. The beak looks cool, but without it looks genuinely creepy, perhaps even a dash horrific!

I agree. Or, I can also see a mass of smaller "feeder tentacles" or possibly something like pedipalps on a spider. Either way, it's a killer sculpt.
