copplestone Brits v Woodbine Turks

Hi ,I have got the chance to get some cheap copplestone ww1 Brits and from another chap some cheap woodbine Turks are the copplestone figures that big it would look too out of place to have them on opposing sides ?

The Copplestone Brits are quite a bit larger than the Woodbine Turks. Famously so.

If they are on opposing sides, I dont see that there is a problem as you're not mixing them up in the same unit & your forgetting one thing The British Tommy is bound to be a much Larger healthier chap than the dastardly Jonny Turk

Love that photo the little chaps got quite a stride there to keep up    i think I will take both lots and if they look toyally out will sell on the turks to help fund some Copplestone ones , although the range of turks is not that varied .The copplestone lot has a command pack 2 infantry pks lmgs and hmgs plus a pack of Indian inf all untouhed for £15.00 ,so is unmissable really the woodbine stuff saves about 20% on retail and the chaps local so no P&P .Thanks for help

There are always the Brigade Games' Turks to flesh out your Copplestones. I am apparently the only person alive who doesn't find the Copplestone Brits to be disproportionately large. Either I have poorer eyesight or laxer standards of measurement than others but they work for me.

Doesn't bother me too much either. My Great War collection is a right old mix of differently-sized buggers.

I think it is perfectly fine and infact preferable to have a mix of figures in our units.
The only issue for me is equipement.......it all has to be similar size and bulk.
I havnt seen the Copplestone Brits..........is there any such place as a comparison site showing all the WW1 manufacturers ranges lined up?.........If not, it would be very usefull
