Quatermass project: figure conversion advice needed

I'm currently off work and uni which is giving me time to ponder current projects. I've decided on the 7TV rules for my Quatermass project and the films have plenty of material for scenarios. I fancy putting a squad of these baddies from Quatermass II together:



The first thing that strikes me is German WWII paratroops with gasmasks so I popped over Westwind but they haven't got anything suitable. So I'm thinking German paratroops for the main body but I'm stuck for heads. Then again someone may be able to suggest an alternative.

Any ideas?

Good suggestion but I'm buggered if I'm paying that much just to cut their heads off.
