War's of Religion Project ( Advice needed !! )

Ok am looking to start a small War's of Religion skirmish Project in 15mm and am looking around for figure ranges, scenery ideas and such and so far have the following in mind.

Museum miniatures and Minifigs ( although would like ideas if anyone has some of where i can find some good generic civilians to work into it. ) Possibly may add the range from Blue Moon Manufacturing Musketeers range if they would work ( do like the coaches and civilian packs )

Magister Militum to begin for scenery. Although am open to any suggestions anyone has in mind. Looking for the more rural sorts for a village then more urban as you get closer to the city.

What are your suggestions guys ?

Essex miniatures have probably the most extensive range of 15mm minis. Check out Hovels for buildings etc. Both reasonably cheap and generally nice minis.
