There's something similar in Hellboy, the Golden Horde:

You know we had one of those slings when my son was little. It was a little too hot to wear in Brazil and we got really odd and even the occasional hostile look from other people there. One woman even stopped my wife in the street and remonstrated with her about it being unnatural. My daughter wouldn't go for it at all but she's part koala and demands being held appropriately. Oddly enough they seem to have  taken off there since.

What I didn't realise is that the 'Baby Bjorn' is actually Swedish. I just assumed it was a daft invented name like Norsca or Haagen Daz, aimed at giving it some Scandinavian lifestyle cred.

The miniature of Peder is striking, and fun, but whats with the dog? He have two children, and I am quite sure that both are human. But then, I can be wrong.

It looks a lovely figure, but I do sort of wish for a mounted version...

Beautiful miniature!  I will certainly be ordering it when we order the third wave of Breugelberg figures.

Who makes the one in the post right above mine?

Children and Human shouldn't be mixed in the same sentence... they are Xenomorphs, which begin as parasites. They eventually resemble their former host after around twenty five years or so, at which point they are capable of surviving independently of the host... some however do so much later.
