Really Old West...


Too cool not to share.

My pre-ordered copy of the Osprey "The Spanish Army in North America 1700-1793" arrived today.  Two pages of chronology of battles to try and research.  Mostly successful battles/sieges versus the British with a couple of conflicts with the French.

Nice Blue and Red or White and Blue uniforms plus the Cueras and Ligeras distinctive uniforms.  Nice blue and yellow for the Catalonian Volunteers.

Feeling happy.

Surely an inspiration for future wargaming for a few I am sure. Its a good period, with nice uniforms and a cool setting, so why not?
