Newbie needs some help

[Weird WWII]

I am starting up a small WWII and Weird War II miniatures line and would like to mold and cast it all myself.  I have already commissioned the greens (by Mr. A Brown himself) but have nothing in terms of equipment, materials and only have limited and novice understanding of the process.

I would like to know step by step the process of getting my stuff into the gamers hands the most cost effective way.  I know this is a heavy question and I might be stepping on other casters feet but I'd appreciate any help and or advice on the process.  What is the best materials for casting?  Best metal mix, equipment, etc.?

A.Brown himself? Wow, I really looking forward to see the minis, Aaron is a great sculptor!

No experiences with moulding of the minis yet, I would ask some professional guys.

I second Pete. He's in the UK though.
If you're going to contact him, best way is to PM him through the frothersunite forum as he checks that more than his mail and he's a fellow committee member.

He wrote a nice mouldmaking tutorial once that I'll see if I can find the link for you.

I take it it is the same for mold blocks were you poor the metal instead of using the centrifuge.  Those things are expensive and I can't foreseeing me being able to purchase that in the near future.  I was looking at doing something like this.
