I'm a big fan..... For all the reasons mentioned above. Sure the stories in the subsequent movies are a bit contrived but that doesn't detract for me.

This is a movie that I will make the effort to watch on IMAX.  ;-)

When will this 3D fad die out?

Ruins the pacing as the action slows to 'bullet' and there might as well be a message flashing at the bottom of the screen saying '3D moment; put on glasses now.  Cool eh?'

 >:(

Still, 3D aside this looks like a cracker of a 3rd movie.
I'll echo the calls for a figure range too...although Copplestone already do the lovely Kate...'Girl werewolf hunter' http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FW

While the appeal of Ms. Beckinsale's undeniable, the Underworld movies have left me kinda cold. The whole "vampires are wicked kewl and rule the world, and WEREWOLVES are even kewler" thing was tired by about 1996 - I got entirely too much of that when I was rooming with the 24/7 "vampire: the Masquerade" LARP gang.

from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

Not sure they rule the world, Vampires are the top dogs hunting down the last of the werewolves who are mostly savage beasts, wageing a war in secret from humans. No human blood dolls in the Underworld movies.

And in this last offering, according to what the trailer shows, it's the humans that are hunting to extinction both vampires and lycans. So perhaps vampires ain't ruling the world after all.

I'm not usually a movie goer,however.....

Me neither.  Last cinema experience was a year ago when I went to see Resident Evil: Afterlife at an IMAX.  Hmmm.  There's theme developing here.......

It's a nice sculpt, I have two of them.  But I'm just too intimidated to try and paint all that shiny leather :(
