As I understand it, they are resin casts of masters built using lasercut sections/detail.

ah, ok, so it's normal! I was quite curious about hybrid techniques! =)
BTW, their pieces are very nice! I'm not very convinced about a 11 euros chart made in lasercut: Isn't a resin-lead one cheaper and more detailed? Sometimes over-stressing a way of working could not be the best... :)

thanks Sangennaru for your comment... very very useful for us Italians ...
I do not know how to thank you.

It was pretty useful indeed. Actually I think that it's useful to compare prices for "similar" hobby products. Or do you think that our common nationality means that we support you without any criticism?  ::)
Very nice stuff in your range Lorenzo but this is not the right attitude IMO.

Hi Faber, sorry But is not completely a matter of patriotism.
or a matter of comparing the costs...

in my catalogue find hundreds of items... with prices ranging from 8 euro to rise.

then I believe, is not possible to compare the availability and prices of my articles ...
with the availability and prices by TTW (for me of course very good articles)

simply this ... I'm sorry you have misunderstood. ;)

no matter Lorenzo. :) The misunderstood was based upon your comment.BTW I still think that a price comparison is possible as long as you and TTW sell "fantasy buildings". Obviously is not easy, a lot of things to consider but it's not a foolish activity :)
cheers

Your discourse is very good :)

but how can you compare a kit like this of these dimensions and detail, with a price of 160,00 euro. with promotional discount = 128,00 euro :o :
as can said that this item is very expensive... :o

from which you can get a job like this...

or this: 42,00 euro

or many other items in my catalogoue...

http://manorhouseworkshopmindstalkers.wordpress.com/manorhouse-workshop-catalogue/

Faber, you can say me as is possible a comparison?
of course, items can like it or not, is a matter of taste.
but to my opinion can not to be compared :)

of course this is just my thoughts.

regards, Lorenzo

well Lorenzo,
I've taken an item from TTW:

costs 113€ and I think is comparable to your tower.
Another style, another detailing but at the end, the same market sector: a fantasy tower. Here's the comparison: yours is very nice and at a good price, that from TTW is far more expensive (three times more) but bigger and better detailed. Someone will buy TTW tower, someone will buy yours. I'm not getting your point about. What's the matter in this reasoning? Comparison means "the considering of two things with regard to some characteristic that is common to both". Common charachteristic: 1) both are fantasy scenary 2) both are towers 3) both are for sale. Can't we discuss about their differences?  :)

Hi Faber,

you said it... 3 times my price ... :) and this saying sangennaru ... equating my prices to those of the TTW.

only this... ;)

Faber, my design is totally Italian historian, that of TTW is fully specified Fantasy or put North European Fantasy...
one can not compare a design with the other.
in fantasy I can do what I want ...
in the historical style as mine  instead no, I can not put things invented..,

however, each has its peculiarities.

Sangennaru  has defined my high prices comparable to prices for TTW. which is not true as you have testified you.

why not put in relation my villa with 13 elements or my castle or the church and cloister ... or others that you can find in the images below ... to another product of TTW,   of equal design, modularity and of cost ...

frankly do not mean to say that one product is better than another. there are those who love the Italian historian and others the fantasy.
is all.

I hope I explained myself.

regards, Lorenzo

Hei guys,

could you do that discussion in private please, I think it's not the right place here.

And, the language at this forum is still english.

Why should they discuss this in private? Other people may be interested. And what do you mean by the language remark? If never heard any concerns raised by anyone about the use of languages other than English before.

If it would be of interest for other users as well, why writing in a language most of us don't understand.
It's not necessary to do that discussion in private, maybe my point was wrong here, but I think it could be done somewhere else, in an own thread, and not under "Latest scenery received".
Just what I think :)

Well, to me it seems a good place to talk about scenary comparison and their prices. But this is opinable :)
About language: I did not write anything in italian and Lorenzo just translate in italian the text he wrote in english in the same post. You are not losing a word of this discussion mate :)
BTW Lorenzo, LAF's language is english. Better not to talk in italian. If you want to talk with me in italian you should send me a PM. :)

sorry, this discussion is not so important to open a new topic, at least for me.

Also I do not like to talk - compare, my products to those of competitors' ... especially as I appreciate very much the items of  TTW
