I purchase a Forge World Coach House from Cptn Blood this weekend. The building is so big we had to have our solicitors involved in the transaction. Still, the market being what it is I got a fair price on it. Having seen his own beautiful completed version up close I fretted a bit as I unpacked the thing again last night to have another look... Thanks again, Richard!

Pleasure. Enjoy  :D
Just to point out, that there is nowhere obvious to hang the inn sign, and the instructions are no help whatsoever... I drilled a hole, made a slot, and added a protruding balsa wood beam to the front of my inn, then hung the sign from that by fine chain...

Hope helpful  ;)

Today, I picked up one of those GW Warhammer Chapels. I want to see if I can convert it into a decent fantasy building without all of the Sigmar and Skulls, which really don't appeal to me.

This last weekend from one of my gaming pals:

And this from www.lemaxstore.nl a couple of days ago:

Took them almost 2 months to deliver, and then there is one piece missing... (and I paid abot €10 for P&P). I'll try the British site next time  :?

And the I got a big box with a whole bunch of scratch-built buildings and stuff from wayswatcher - lots of adobe-stuff for my now imminent Pulp-campaign, and a crab-droid, some cars, a european ruined building (WWW!!!).

Most of the buildings will need some work to get finished completely, but compared to starting out from scratch, this is a HUGE leap forward for my gaming  :D
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Looks just like the stuff I used to build our jungle.  :)

The palm trees look great.

Did you order direct from Lemax? That's odd that it would take soooo long.

From a Dutch 'Lemaxstore'. They told me right away, that my order would be 'ordered for me' following Oct. 1st, but as we approached Halloween, and I had not heard anything, I started giving notice, and finally the stuff arrived Wednesday.

A good thing, I didn't need it for a Halloween display...  ::)

Next time, I'll try my luck here:

EDIT: Then again... they do not seem to carry any of the stuff, I just got delivered... not yet, anyway...  :?

I ordered lemax stuff through merchantoverstock.com and had pretty good luck, although that's on this side of the Atlantic.

Love the trees.

The plastic plants in the first picture are the stuff I picked up at the local pet store. I've  used it almost up by now. Time for a new shopping tour.

I'm going to order quite a bunch from Fins and Fins in the UK very soon... very few pet stores carry plastic plants here in DK....

Today I got, from Model Hobbies in the UK:

  • Pegasus Museum Models Cactus #1 x2
  • Pegasus Museum Models Cactus #2 x1
  • Pegasus Museum Models Collection Gothic City Ruins 1 x1

I just picked up the GW battle mat I ordered through the friendly local. This has to be the best value they have ever offered! For $30 US you get a fully flocked 6' X 4' cloth mat. It seems very sturdy and crease-resistant, too.

Picked up this building in an xmas-clearout sale for 3-4 €. There were more in the appropriate scale, but I figured with all the work needed to remove the snow, wraiths, lighting,etc.. it wasn't worth it.

This one should be usable with minimal changes. I'm thinking middle eastern fantasy (hence the figure used for scale).
