I had a look for ogres using Reaper's figure finder, and they all looked too bestial to fit what Fram described.

They're also pretty crude. I am not one to rag on Reaper - they have plenty of good sculpts and many of them match the scale I'm using. But their orcs and ogres are certainly not their best stuff.

Been searching off an on... this fellow is probably good scale-wise (might be a little big, but I think I can make it work), and his gear works very well for a mercenary captain (my fellow isn't armed with a glaive, but that's an incredibly easy fix). Too bad he's such an angry fellow.  :'(

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Those first two have potential, for the heads at least... wish I could see 'em painted. It's tough to see what they really look like from those photos.

Really should paint mine....
They're very nice Bob Olley sculpts.

Edit:
I found some images of the range painted on google.

Oh wow, I just realized: The stock sculpts for this tribe are literally the first and third figures (though plastic). The exact same ones. The unique is supposed to be a tribesman who "Got civilization" and became a mercenary captain, but it was sculpted much later by a very poor sculptor (which is why I'm trying to replace him).

Might get the third and see if I can mount his head on a body with better gear.

That's an incredible find... thanks guys!

Plastic? I'd like to know more about those. ???
You'd best have a good look through the ogres/trolls on the Ral Partha website then as they're all the Olley sculpts, you'll definately get a match! :D

They were Mage Knight figures. The ogre-ish primitive tribe was called the "Krugg" subfaction. They were "Mage Spawn" (neutral figures who could be used in any army). In your pictures above, the 1st fellow was the "Krugg Heaver" and the third was the "Krugg Thug".

I have a long-term project to slowly replace/or repaint all the ugliest sculpts (or mediocre sculpts on figures I like/use a lot) in my collection.

I think these two are great candidates.

http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/02149a-ogre-spearman-p-1771.html
http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/02144a-troll-with-scythe-p-1762.html

The rogueish spearchucker is neat (though the spear arm would need a substantial and kind of awkward conversion), but the scythe-wielding fellow's face is fantastic. He has this perfect sort of wry, command-worn expression. If I can find a great body to transpose that head onto, I'll be set.

EDIT:
The third figure you posted is also a possibility

I just realized it was the other Troll Swordsman listed on that page that was the Krugg Thug. The sculpt with the cut-off top-knot was never used.

So many useful figures... maybe I'll be able to add further custom ones.  :-*
