Gladiators (WIP 12/15)

The Aliens project is in stand by since a few weeks as I had to paint my Dreadfleet fleets and sceneries. It's finished at last but meanwhile I took benefit of the Warhammer Historical sale to buy Gladiator rules (nicely reviewed by Anatoli).

I just had to dig some Foundry gladiators from my huge lead pile and find some Romans (thanks to Comsquare). I didn't convert most of my gladiators except the following ones :

From left to right : an old Citadel gladiator with a Foundry Dwarf helmet (to create a Contra-retiarius), another oop Citadel miniature (as a Secutor) and a Foundry Dwarf modified to human size (a Thracian)



From left to right converted Foundry Pugilatus as Retiarius, Laquerarius and Velite.



From left to right Foundry Romans converted as a Sagittarius, the famous Maximus and a Doctore (the black one from Spartacus series).

Really nice conversions, look forward to seeing them painted.
Doctore was for me the only likable character in the Spartacus show.
