The armour looks AMAZING and the red cloak/necklace is enough to show it's allegiance to Khorne.
I never really liked the all-red Khorne paint schemes anyway.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Yeah, glad you went with something other than red.  Great job!   :-* :-* :-*

That's just beautiful.  I love the turquoise/verdigris tarnish around the rivets.  Top-notch work.

many thanks guys! :) I'm really happy you like it!
I love this good scheme to follow, it really fit the idea I had about a Khorne warrior :)
More to follow ;)

Thanks for the recipy; it will be put to good use. As soon as I get to it of course... ::)

Hahaah! [lots of cloakswirling and the leaving of a rapierslashed 'D' on your revealing post] :D

That single miniature captures so many aspects of how I would imagine an evil knight from the Northern wastes. And that's absolutely due to your painting and basing. Superbly done, and I would hope for some more to come.

many thanks Mad Doc :) Your compliment is much appreciated.
it was exactly the idea I wanted to realize: an evil warrior of the Northern wastes. :D
And you have to know that I was finally inspired to take a pic of him when I saw your wonderful "the Gor effect" :) Best beastmen warband ever ;)
cheers!

Excellent work.  Brass is a legit Khorne colour so I think a lot of people would assume that he was aligned to that god, if any.  Would be nice to see a unit of knights or some such  ;D
