Hello, finally stopping lurking in the shadows
« on: 29 December 2011, 04:54:40 AM »
Found this forum a while back while looking into making some Victorian Buildings and just can't seem to keep away.
Been playing with toy soldiers for way to long now and will play, paint and collect pretty much anything.
Have favorites including 15mm Napoleonics and WW2, 28mm Gothic Horror and zombies but also have old west, ECW, lots of Warhammer and 40k stuff, generally metal not really into the plastic stuff.
Main thing I'm working on at the moment is a Victorian Street scene, honest it's to be a Christmas Village so only a decoration. The thought of playing wargames on it has never crossed my mind! The wife seems to be buying the idea so far.

Welcome, Henry! =) Hijacking the decorations is a great way to get some hobby time in without the ol' ball and chain noticing. Well done!

I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Greetings, take your coat off and sit down.  I'll put the kettle on for a brew.  You'll be here for a long time.  :D
