Black and Red robed mages
« on: 30 December 2011, 08:38:10 PM »
Tried to do some painting here over the holidays.. haven't been entirely successful in getting stuff finished but what the heck.

These are two quick mages done. And yes the highlights on the black sucks but I used a gloss black and couldn't really see what I was doing,... it became awfully apparent when I dull coted it though  lol

Alistair Crowley,.. the mother sheep of Satanism

Santa Claus... the mother sheep of Commercialism

Have you any idea how much sherry and how many mince pies that man consumes... in one night? It's no wonder he's fat, jolly, and asleep most of the year.

Err, I was talking about St Nick, not Aleister Crowley, or Dr The Viking.

Nice work Dr, sir! Santa especially is a marvel.

Santa is fabulous. Nice attention to the sack contents and Mr. Crowley, what went down in your head? Mr. Crowley, did you talk to the dead, Your lifestyle to me seems so tragic with the thrill of it all you fooled all the people with magic you waited on Santa's call

Lovely work on both! Where is Mr. Crowley from? The discolouration around Santa's beard is particularly disturbing  ;D

And I couldn't resist putting on Edguy's Aleister Crowley Memorial Boogie:   :D

VERY NICELY DONE! You've got two of the symbols of modern evils...crass materialism & merely crass.
In addition to a drop of the pure on occasion, from the discoloration of the central portion of his mustache, I'd say Santa is a smoker...what he smokes precisely is another matter.
