Robed 15mm Cultist figures - are there any ?
« on: August 14, 2012, 06:18:17 PM »
Ok, i bit the bullet and started off my 15mm Strange Aeons (ordered the 2 packs of Brigade Games 15mm adventures, when finished Splintered Light/Rebel/Khurasan and whatever else catches the eye).

Unfortunately, don't appear to be much in the way of robed cultist in 15mm (several options of greenstuff'ing hoods, or head swaps). So does anyone have any ideas about these ?.

There are some 15mm druids out there that might work, provided you're not equipping your cultists with firearms (or don't mind that the models don't have any).

I also read that Khurasan minis will have some more cultist variants in the future:

Human cultists wearing gas masks.
The Naga who are snake men cultists with sci-fi /alien looking weapons.
There are also the Vilg, who were inspired by the "creatures" in the movie The Village.  Think robed creatures with long claws.

I hope those all materialize this year at some point!

Guns might need a bit of fiddling to fit your time period though!

Still no real luck, though several idea's - robed models with head swaps (Peter Pig heads on Khurasan cultists). Other options include Macabien (spelling wrong) Jew Rabbi's from Xyston, and Fantasy Wraith figures (i think from the MM old chariot range).

Thing some of the traders at Colours may become frayed around the edges dealing with this.

And any one know if someone does 15mm weapon packs (i'm at present collecting many spare 15mm's to cut up for things like pistols and blades).
