art deco ruin in 20mm
« on: January 03, 2012, 02:50:56 PM »
in line with this years xmas rest this year i have managed to get several new 20mm buildings finnsihed off for the escape committee clubs urban ruins terrain.
this time it is an art deco style ruined factory,

the parts are all in resin (except roof, mdf) and will soon be available to you all so you can make your own ones.
although all of the parts are full walls, i.e. not ruined but can easily be made into a ruined format with a saw.
the model will be available flat packed with a minimal amount of assembly required,
and you can also just buy individual walls ect to make different designs ect.

even the rubble is available as well,

as usual more pics here,

we hope to have the new industrial building parts list out at the end of jan 2012
thanks

Very nice indeed.

But such a shame it's not in 28mm... :?

thanks for the comments
the doors and windows are big enough to use for 28mm scale.
so it would not look too out of place in a 28mm game

Ah yes, but one of the key aspects of Art Deco buildings is their size. Buildings with the look you've achieved there, are usually quite colossal, whilst the less monumental details are seen on smaller structures, like residential buildings.

I like what you've done, but as I'm strictly doing 28mm, I fear your buildings will look too small. Which is a shame, as I'm heavily involved with Pulp/Interwar settings at the moment...
