Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
« on: 12 January 2012, 03:44:56 PM »
I just saw the 2011 version. Not bad, not bad and what an actor lineup. I was however left thinking a remake was a bit unnecessary since the original is so very good and although the actors are so very good the film didn't really make something new out of the story.

Anyway, is there a company which within the KKBB concept makes a Smiley miniature?

I quite liked the 2011 film but it wasn't enough. I went back to the BBC Alec Guiness version which is superb and then listened to the audio-book

Can't help you on the figure - sorry

Bloody good film.

I enjoyed it, have not seen Alec Guinness version, but will certainly hunt it down.

You're in for a treat. 'Smiley's People' ain't bad either but not quite as good as TTSS.

Really enjoyed the film. What I liked about the film which I thought I would hate was Oldman's impression of Alec Guinness, fantastic.
