I'm afraid I disagree with you about the buildings Grimm. Real whitewashed buildings REALLY shine in the sun, they look really right to me.

But I say  only what I  would do I don´t want to start trouble  
They are better then the most stuff I see at shows last year

I think it is the flash/lighting form the photo I agree with both of you, they are spot on for white washed buildings yet as Grimm says a bit of weathering (and this is not obvious though the brown undercoat looks like it works) makes them look more war torn/haggard.
