Hi,

Just to inform you about my last purchase, a small Stygian (lizardmen) army (I also bought all the 1st edition rules and army books!).

The figures looks incredible. Nice sculpting, all metal, and especially great character design. For me, the best variation on fantasy lizardmen. The background is a mix of egyptian and other antics civilizations.  Here's a little sample of figures :

They look animal, wild : the core range is composed of great figures. Not all of them, since the figures range include "chaos-ish" monsters and humanoid creatures. Less original in my opinion (but, sadly, quite usefull in terms of gaming).

I'll post in the dedicated forum a painting work in progress.

The spiders should not be too hard to find.

Cyclopes Forge did some Devout Jackel Clan crossbowmen.

Checkout the Eccelsior Forums for more info on where to find good proxy miniatures for the different forces.

You can find them on prince august website. THe only problem with chronopia range of figures, is that some references has disapeared, and become rares these days.

The Cyclopes Forge site might be down but Francesco is starting a new one under a new name.He has some new pieces he is working on including a new Troll.

Some of the miniatures are becoming hard to find. Not all of the miniatures were released for the game either.Ebay is a good source for finding some. The Excelsior Forums has a trading section which is also a good place to look.

@belgian : all the stygian (lizardmen) figures you'll see on this topic are currently available on prince august website (search prince august chronopia" on google).

My current list is composed of

Great warrior (2 models available)
spearmen
axemen
swordsmen
reapers

The other figures are not the same : humanoids, "chaotic" creatures, or snakemen. I personaly prefer the dino/lizard style of mine.

I will try to get my Jackle Crossbowmen painted and show them to you.

If you look at the painted miniatures on the Chronopia forums they are split into different factions.People have been posting their paint jobs for awhile now.Link below.

I loved the Chronopia background too (I just didn't like the rules very much)

If anyone's looking for some Blackblood (Orcs, Goblins) miniatures, I have some knocking around somewhere at home. PM me for a list
Cheers
