Androidz at Poundland

Hello all,

Just as a heads up to those of you who haunt Poundland, I was passing through the Cambridge store today and saw a few rows of those little "Androidz" robots. I snagged a couple to paint up as an experiment. I know that some people on here have spoken of them as good, inexpensive 28mm bots, so I thought it mention it to the community.

Once I have them finished, I shall try to post some photos, but I'm afraid my photography is not terribly great.

Not of the actual ones I bought, and their official website is kind of a pain. But you can find some images here: http://www.parrygamepreserve.com/toys/toyQuest/androidz/2Packs/flashFloodHackJaw.php - I got the one with the three eyes under a sort of hood thingy. The ones I saw were individually packed, not in sets as shown here. They didn't have a huge number, so whether they'll still be there now, who knows? You know what it's like.

Some of them weren't useful for what I was hoping to do with them, but others were quite good, and it's hard to argue with the price.

I did one too (halfway down the thread) and have some more that I want to do.  They are pretty inexpensive and the have some buildings that are cool too.
