So, how is Super System?
« on: 04 January 2008, 12:31:07 PM »
I guess it's hard not to be #1 when you are pretty much the only one out there, but how good are the Super System rules?  The mini line looks like it might be fun to paint (and I've done many heroclix conversions before...here are some examples, and adventure I wrote for Savage Worlds, if you want to weed throguh the thread for the pics: www.savageheroes.com/adventures/Nullifiers%20Demands.pdf ) But what are the general opinions of the rules?  Complexity?  Playability?  Fun factore?  Anything else?

Best Superhero game around IMO.

Alternating activation, opposed dice rolls and acomplete hero generating system.
Take a look at my webiste to see what you can do with S2:

Super System is a great game! It is very easy to learn and very customizable. I never fail to have a great time playing it.

It is a lot of fun.  We play it at the Club with two to three players per side with two models each.  Games can be narrative driven with goals or just a smackdown and still be very fun.  Highly recommend it.

Superfigs is definitely my first choice for super hero gaming. I know the author so I'm hardly unbiased but you should give it a shot. There are alot of good skirmish games out there but Superfigs has the level of detail you need to have guys made out of stone, or with laser eyes, flight powers, etc...
