Miniature 53: This miniature is from Artizan, Dr. Curfew. I posted this before on LAF but as I said I would like to post all the pictures on the blog and on the same thread. I´ll use him as warlock.

Cheers.

Aside from your amazing paintjobs, I noticed something funny: thus far you have exactly the same Artizan miniatures as me! lol There are 5 in my collection, from which I have painted 2. Now I'm curious if those other 3 will also pop up here... ;)

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.
Really enjoying this thread: I don't have anything profound to say, but I just wanted to add to the chorus!

Mad Scientist- Again, what a great paintjob, you make me want that mini now.  ;D
Seeing as how I have only just come into possession of the Pulp mad Scientist, I had better refrain.
It is wonderful, though.

Thank you for your very kind words and I´m very happy that you like the miniatures. I´m enjoying a lot painting them and planning the games. I usually paint a lot of WW2 or Napoleonics for other people, so I use Strange Aeons and Mythos stuff to take fresh air and keep my sanity. Thanks you for your support and encouraging!! And please keep posting your miniatures and AAR because they are being a great source of ideas, inspiration and It´s very nice to see other people is doing.

Miniature 54, "the Sacrifice", This is the "Large crate with hands/tentacles" from Black Cat Bases. I enjoyed a lot painting it and planning how I´m going to use it in my games. I have thought to paint at least three of them and use them as scenes of horror or objective markers (victims for rescueing or something like that). I´ll only use the hands and I´ll use the tentacles for other things I have planned. I put some balsa wood inside of each crate side to attach the arms to them. I made holes in the wood and I glued the arms in them.

Cheers.

Miniature 55, Mouth on Legs from Black Cat Bases. I have got several of them, I have planned to use them as giant vermins or another strange animals, the little sons of The Great Mother.

Who needs sanity?
It is greatly over-rated if you ask me, and me, and me.......

Love the new additions.
Superb brushmanship as usual, sir.

Those crates are an excellent idea, as is the balsa wood core, I didnt even know that they existed, along with the Mouths (freaky!)
I am really looking forward to raiding the BCB stock at Salute after seeing these.
